What are the environmental requirements for weather-resistant plate welding? Weathering board has the characteristics of toughness, plastic extension, forming, welding, corrosion, high temperature and fatigue of heat-resistant cast iron. The aging resistance is 2 to 8 times that of ordinary carbon steel, and the sprayability is 1.5 to 10 times that of ordinary carbon steel. It can be used in thinning, exposed use or simplified spraying. This steel grade is rust-resistant, making prefabricated components resistant to corrosion, extending their lifespan, thinning, saving energy, and saving time, environment, and energy, benefiting manufacturers and users of prefabricated components. Weather-resistant boards are used for the production of shipping containers, railway vehicles, crude oil gantry cranes, port construction, oil production plant service platforms and vessels containing hydrogen chloride corrosive substances in chemical plant petroleum equipment.
The carbon equivalent of the weather-resistant plate is higher. The higher the carbon equivalent of the stainless steel plate, the greater the hardening tendency, the greater the cold cracking tendency in the welding heat hazard zone, and the worse the weldability of the stainless steel plate. There are three main factors that cause welding cold cracks: 1. The hardening tendency of the steel; 2. The welding tensile stress; 3. The amount and distribution of peroxide in the welded joint.
The lowest ambient temperature allowed during welding of weather-resistant boards is as follows:
1. Alloy steel and general high alloy steel (Class A-Ⅰ): -10℃
2. Alloy steel and general high alloy steel, heat-strength steel and alloy tool steel (Class A-Ⅱ, Ⅲ, B-Ⅰ): 0℃
3. Heat-strength steel and alloy tool steel (Class B-II, III): 5℃
When any of the following conditions occurs in the welding environment, protective measures should be taken, otherwise welding is strictly prohibited:
1. The wind speed level of manual arc welding exceeds 8 meters/s. The wind speed level of manual arc welding exceeds 1m/s;
2. Air humidity exceeds 90%;
3. The welded parts are splashed with water, exposed to rain or exposed to fog;
4. When the temperature of the welded parts is less than 0℃.
The weather-resistant plate welding site needs to have wind resistance, waterproof rainproof, anti-freeze and other measures. Use alkaline low hydrogen type welding wire and flux. Alkaline low-hydrogen welding wire and flux welded joints have low peroxide content, good flue gas desulfurization, good dephosphorization properties, and high fracture toughness. It needs to be air-dried at 350~C~420~C for 1-2 hours before use. The purpose is to effectively remove the moisture in it, thereby reducing the oxygen content of the welded joint and reducing the tendency of the joint to crack. Welding accessories must be tested and meet the standards before they can be assembled. They cannot be assembled with excessive force to avoid excessive assembly stress. Carefully clean the location where the stainless steel plate is to be welded and the area within 20 mm on each side to remove moisture, rust, oil stains and other dirt. Arrange the welding sequence scientifically. The standard is to enable most welds to be welded under a low bending stiffness standard as much as possible to further reduce the welding stress.
